I wonder how Afrocentric thought is influencing the constucts of life in the world. Music ought to be a construct that is defined,qualified, categorized, by the culture or people that create it. I hope that the music created by Black folk isn't being categorized by a white brush.Would Marvin Gaye be considered classical in a AFROCENTRIC WORLD? Do Europeans hold a monopoly on definitions?
